Dostępność do technologii i narzędzi pozwalają także na przesyłanie amatorskich filmów video, co daje kandydatom dodatkowo możliwość zamieszczenia video CV. Niewątpliwie taki system zwiększa szansę na znalezienie pracy, gdyż kandydaci mogą pokazać „w całej okazałości” swoje atuty i przyciągają uwagę potencjalnych pracodawców. Mowa ciała, a także sposób mówienia jak i słownictwo, intonacja czy gesty, którymi się posługujemy w prezentacji, mówią o nas więcej, niż setki słów na kartce papieru.
Co więcej, firma która decyduje się na taką formę promocji może wykorzystać film do innych celów, np. umieszczać na swojej stronie internetowej, pokazywać na targach, szkoleniach itp., a także wykorzystać do emisji w telewizji.
Nie będzie nadużyciem stwierdzenie, iż w niedalekiej przyszłości dołączanie wideo CV do aplikacji będzie takim samym standardem, jak obecnie dołączanie zdjęcia. Świadczy o tym chociażby fakt, iż od grudnia 2009 r. w tarnowskim Urzędzie Pracy stworzono już System Video CV, a inne Urzędy Pracy wykazują poważne zainteresowane takim systemem.
